I have just purchased a Canon DC10 Camera and I am trying to Download video's using a USB cable.

When I use MyDVD for Canon it has saved it as a DVD file and then I can edit and save OK

I then installed MyDVD 8 Premier because half the functions of MyDVD LE don't work without the upgrade which is a bit of a rip off.

There is no device available for this media type

This is a bunch of garbage how do I get my money back

There sure is.  It is in the EMC 8 section, right where it is posted now.  What do you see on the main page of the forums?

Edit:  You have to click on the Easy Media Creator 8 button.

You cannot download video files with USB with this program; it thinks it is a web camera. Canon modified the program to work with that camera.  Use the original program or finalize the disc and put that into your computer and copy the video from that.

Contact Roxio inside sales if you bought the download to get your money back (in less than 30 days).
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
