Is there some way to use EMC9 (or EMC8, or ...) to make a copy of video program from a DVD with scratches or damage so bad that regular copying fails with read errors, etc.?

There are several CD/DVD devices on the market that will remove or partial remove scratches by 'polishing' the disc. I bought a memorex version and it works fine. Fortunately, I have only had to use it a few times. I got tired of renting DVDs that I couldn't watch because they were scratched so badly. LOL
