I went to the Roxio Knowledege Base to find an answer for this. It says to go to msconfig and check boxes to start several of the services applying to Roxio, I opened msconfig and the boxes were already checked. The very strange part of this is that the Runtime error happens randomly without even accessing any of the Roxio programs. I will get the error when using my computer for anything from web browsing to playing offline games. Could it be that Roxio has taken a page from the Microsoft book and using it's paying customers as unpaid beta testers??? With the errors generated by this turkey of a program, that idea is looking more realistic all the time.

Try just the opposite. Go to msconfig, and uncheck anything that has to do with Roxio. You can also uncheck most of the other stuff that is in there. Most isn't even needed.

Click on Apply/Ok, then reboot. See what happens.
