I'm trying to convert some files in Roxio 9 from the VideoWave function into MPEGs before burning to DVD.
Sadly text additions I have made in VideoWave do not all come out and I have no idea why - Odd words missing for no apparent reason.
Someone please help - this is desperate as it's for my Brothers Wedding DVD that I've already spent about 40 hours editting. I can't fall at the final hurdle!

Please provide the steps you are doing, and how exactly did you add the text.
What do you mean by "convert some files .. into MPEGs"?

To add text effects I am in VideoWave9 simply using the "Add Text" button or "Add text effect" button. This Then shows any comments on the avi file that I want to flick up on screen.
In terms of the "MPEG Creation".

When I'm in the VideoWave9 .avi file I'm selecting
"File & Output As..."
Then completing the following:
Purpose: All
Selecting "Both" instead of either NTSC or PAL
Video quality: MPEG-2 for DVD, best quality
Then selecting "Create Video File"

You can see as the file is being created in the preview payne that it is missing some of the text I have added - not whole sentences, but words from sentences and each time I try again the words seem to change that are missing.
Eg
"Do you trust me Rose?" is the addition that should appear.
" trust Rose?" may appear the first time
" Do trust me " the next time, etc etc.

Do you have any ideas?

Thanks

Have you updated the drivers for your video card/adapter to the most current yet? What you are describing lends me to believe it's related to your video hardware.
