I am using emc8 and have a video, that I would like to get a couple of freeze frame pictures from.  Can I do this using emc8?

Assuming that the video footage is a supported media format in EMC8 (such as mpg, avi, etc), there are two options:

1) Better quality still images if you capture from Media Manager. Open Media Manager, navigate to the video and right click. Select Extract images. Works both in V8 and V9.

2) Open the Videowave application, then either select Add Photo/Video or Show Media Selector. From the window that pops up, right click on the video footage file and select Extract Image. The next window that opens up is self-explanatory.

Let us know how it goes.
