I have a problem with 8 installation will i was have it installed and i restored my registry to an earlier state and then i re installed 7 and uninstalled it and used MSI cleaner to clean 7 from there as well now everytime i install 8 its mention about 7 but its start the installation then in the middle its give an error about ISscript or something like that, anyway is there a cleaner to move any roxio 7 footsteps from my registry i think there were one for the elder versions.

a. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files
b. Rename Roxio Shared to Roxio Shared.old
c. Re-install EMC8

I had encountered this problem over the past weekend when I attempted to reinstall roxio 8 due to problems I was having w/ the software.
I had to go to safe mode and remane some dll files and then I was able to delete the roxio files in the shared folder. your method is much easier.
