I have an internal LG DL DVD burner on a XP workstation (1.5 GB RAM, P4 1.6 GHZ). I have tried to burn DVD movies using Disk Copier and get various errors. When I try to burn a DL DVD, I get a 0x000000 almost immediately. When I use a Single layer DVD, I get a 0x13800401.

I have tried Verbatim, Fuji and Memorex media all with the same errors. An older version of Nero was previously installed and I have an older video card (All-in-Wonder 128). The firmware for the DVD drive is up-to-date.

Have you removed Nero from the system?  Once Nero is removed from your system, please run the clean up utility for Nero found here.  Once you have done that, do a clean install of EMC 9 following the instructions here

Thanks for the help.

I followed the suggestions, but I am still getting errors. The DVD compresses to fit on a single-layer DVD and it gets to 99% and gives me a "medium error"  13800401 (and unspecified error 0x13800401) and the DL DVDs show "compression DVD"...even though I am putting 7 GB on a 8 GB DVD. It immediately finishes and gives me an error..
