Is this worth the money!! Can it do more than dvd 5.1? Can it do more than Creator 9? Is it worth the money for a novice?

From my little bit of reading, it appears it's very much a DVDit! 6 Pro with HD support. I do know that going from 5 to 6 was worth it but I don't see the HD support worth the upgrade unless of course, you do lots of HD stuff.
You really can't compare DVDit! to EMC9 which is a suite package while DVDit! is a sole DVD authoring tool.

DVDit Pro is more of a DVD authoring app and does very little editing.
