Just tried to use the Photo Projects Assistant and it is asking me to insert the cd. I was supplied two CDs of software of version 8 puchased by me. But invain. The same message is being repeated as a reasult I am unable to create the greeting cards etc., Can I find any help.

Sounds to me like you don't have the content disc installed. When it asks you to insert disc, try putting in the content disc and see what happens.

hi ive had same problem photo assis asks me to put in content disk when i do box opens with you already have emc9 installed

There is a post pinned to the top of the boards that says essentially that you should install the program, open VideoWave or other, close it and then install the content disc. Don't know why but that is a Roxio post.
Try uninstalling the Roxio Content using Windows and then reinstalling. Sometimes the program forgets where the content is stored. If that doesn't work, use Windows to do a repair on the program (same reason).
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
