Get into media import having selected Canon DV video camera. "Capture now" buttons (among others) greyed out. "capture now" worked once but since then has steadfastly refused to do so.
As this was the first test item I used on the trial run through with EMC 9 I am, as a result, far from im pressed.
Is anyone else underwhelmed by EMC 9 for the same reason?

Why would you think this has anything to do with the software?
It is up to XP to recognize the device when you plug it into the 1394 port. Can you capture with Windows Movie Maker?
