Well how do you explain the fact that it runs perfectly fine on 2 of my systems?
I read you other posts and you don't give much info to offer you  help at all.  If you truly want help, please explain your problem with much better detail.  If you want to gripe, try the General Chat area!

ok, i have a dell dimension 8300 3.2ghz processor, two 120 hdd, 1 gig of ram, 256mb ati 9600 graphics card,
windows xp pro. my problem is every time i try to use disc copier on a audio cd, i get an error message.
i use emc 7.5 on my laptop and disc copier works fine. i noticed several people on the forum with this problem. i have a sony dvd-rw writer and a hp dvd-rw writer on my computer. does roxio plan any patches in the near future for emc 9 because i noticed several people with different brand computers having similar problems. this is not a hardware problem! sorry for your impatience, but how do you think i feel.

Yes, an update is expected but when, no one knows.  We were told when many asked about Vista compatibility that an update would be out by the time Vista is available to consumers.....I'm hearing that'll be the end of January.  Exactly what the update does, I have no idea.

Just looking at this thread: It will help a lot if you provide the steps you were doing leading to the error message. Also, what was the error message?

yea the software still needs updates BAD! from the look of the forum LOTS of people have LOTS of problems with emc 9 so i guess lots of people are comdemning the software, so at least i am not the only one. i did not comdemn anyone, you are putting words in my mouth, but
it looks to me like a digital guru would have thought of a installation repair but i guess you are more of a digital tyro. LOL

It does sort of help us diagnose problems IF the guy sitting firing up posts actually TELLS us what his problem is - not a load of verbiage about needing patches, etc
