Videowave 8 Locks Up In MyDVD 8 - Videowave 8 locks up when inserting a slideshow to a DVD

I need some help... I have MyDVD 8 Premier and have been trying to insert a slideshow but I get a Videowave 8 error every time I try to save.

I have AVI files as part of the project, but cannot create a slideshow or insert MPEG-1, MPEG-2, DMSM, or DMSS files into the DVD project without the project creating an error message upon saving the file. The error message is: "VideoWave 8 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

I'm working on a Christmas present and am frustrated that I spent $70 on something that doesn't "work"! Please help.

I don't know how to send my PC info...

I have a DELL Dimension 2400 P4 2200 with 1gig ram I have the stock video card and have just updated the driver. I have Directx 9.0c - October 2006 on my system and I.E. 6.0
