Has anyone had any luck getting the record function of the LP assistant to actually recognize the track gaps automatically? I have the "gap may include noise" option checked, but still no luck. I'm using a good turntable with a pre-amp into the line-input of my sound card. The recording is good, but I guess there is still some crackle in the track gaps, and I can't see anywhere to actually adjust the sensitivity.
I'm also disappointed that the Assistant does not apparently export the track list when I run Label Creator after burning a CD. The album name and artist do get carried over, but not the tracks. I optioned the "CD-Text" option on the CD, but Label Creator does not seem capable of extracting that data either.
I have not had any problems recording from my lp's other than I do get a hum, but I just ignore it and listen to the cd's anyway. My problem is getting my new printer to print out the labels for the new cd.
As to the gap noise, can you delete a portion in between the songs? The when you finish all of that, save all the tracks to your music.
Have you tried getting the track music from the cd that you have just burned? If the titles are there for each song they should be there. If not you will have to type each one in and then print.
