I'm using Toast 7.1.2 and I have it set to "supposedly" not start Toast when I insert a blank CD or DVD. However, it always mounts Toast anyway, and when I quit Toast it ejects the CD/DVD. I would like to back up my purchases from the iTunes store, but can't get the d-mnded things to burn in iTunes since I can't get a disc to mount outside of Toast. Any ideas on what to do?

Click on the CDs and DVDs panel in System Preferences. Choose Open Finder or Open iTunes or Ignore as what you want done when a blank CD or DVD is inserted. Toast will work with any of those settings as well.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
