Hello,

I picked up a copy of PhotoSuite Mobile Edition and have been unable to install it. When I run the setup program I receive the following error:

Setup has detected that the Palm Desktop software is not installed. Please install the Palm Desktop software before installing PhotoSuite Mobile Edition

Contrary to what the error message says, I do have the Palm Desktop software (version 4.1.4) installed.

I'm not sure what version of PhotoSuite Mobile Edition I have, but there is a file on the CD called VOLINFO.TXT that lists Build No: 2.2.048.461.

My computer runs Windows 2000 SP4.

I was able to install the software by doing the following.

1. I un-installed Palm Desktop 4.1.4.
2. I downloaded and installed Palm Desktop 3.1.
3. I installed PhotoSuite Mobile Edition.
4. I re-installed Palm Desktop 4.1.4.

Now if I could just figure out how to get PSME to transfer photos to my Palm's SD memory card!
