:) Okay, I am going out on a limb asking this question.....

I would like to know what the best AVI capture card is out there. I want to edit my home videos and my Hauppauge card, even though it works great, only encodes MPEG.

The product by Turtle Beach, Video Advantage looks promising. They scare me because of reports of slim or non-existent tech support. That is a very bad thing...

It also does not appear on the approved capture card list. Does anyone know if it works with Roxio?

Thanks for the advice......
Thanks,

Kirkifer

:) Thanks Beerman....

I do like the videohelp.com site, but it leaves me with all kinds of questions....

Maybe I should just ask for good experiences people have had with AVI capture or some other low or no compression capture.

I have read a lot about the ATI All-In-Wonder cards, but I can not seem to confirm that they can capture in AVI or some other low or no compression format. These cards are Roxio friendly and that would make them a good choice.

Any ideas or opions out there?
Thanks,

Kirkifer
