Hello,
I purchased EMC 9 after using EMC 8 for sometime. Even got a better video card. I am working in Video Wave 9 with JPEG images that are not huge files. They are around 135kb and 890x690. I am trying to add/change the transitions between the images.

I get this error message:

Vidoe Wave 9.exe - Application Error
The instruction at 0x0f26f523 referenced memory at 0x81fc0c80. The memory could not be "written".
Click Ok to terminate the program

After reading the through this forum I got the idea to try the exact same thing using Video Wave 8.
WELL, guess what - It worked fine in 8, no lock up and no error message

My computer is defragged, has all the latest updates, and my drivers are current
