I've had to uninstall/reinstall EMC 9 at least seven (7) time so far, and a message keeps popping up stating that I have a missing file. It is :"Program Files\Media Experience\CmDVDreg.exe". Did anyone else have this problem??

Do you have Windows Media Center installed?
Try going to program files\media experience\CmDVDreg.exe and double clicking that file.

Yes... I tried to click on that file, but it said that something called "kcams.dll" was missing. As I write this, I have downloaded that particular file from a website supplied by another kind person in this forum, and when I ran Norton WinDoctor (which originally sniffed out the missing file) no problems were found. Now, I am in the process of attempting to run EMC 9 again... with fingers crossed!!

I did see a post similar to yours with that suggestion. But, we don't always here back from posters when they are successful so please let us know your results.
