Anyone have a solution to this problem?  I have a love-hate relationship with this program.  I like the layout and when things are working it is great...but, my program is running so slooooow.  Everything I do, adding a photo, adding a transition, adjusting duration, etc., takes several seconds to minutes to do!  I don't understand, my new computer is supposed to be screaming fast.  Are there any fixes for slow program funcitons?
Not that any of this makes any sense to me, but if it helps...my system:

NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 [Display adapter]
HP dv9000V Laptop
XP Home Edition
AMD Turion 64x2 Mobile TL-60 1.8 GHz
17.0" WSXGA+BrightviewWidescreen 1680x1050
256MN NVDIA GeForce® Go 7600
HP IMPRING Finish + Microphone
2.0 GB DDR2 SDRAM (2x1024MB)
200 GB 5400 RPM SATA Dual Hard Drive
300 GB Hard Drive Kit for xb3000 Base
HP xb3000 Notebook Expansion Base
Super Multi 8X DVD+/-RW w/DL Support
802.11 a/b/g WLAN & Bluetooth

Thank for the link.  I am doing a defrag as I write this.  Do you really think a defrag will help?  This computer is only 2 months old and all my drives are running with at least 75% - 99% free space.  It just doesn't make sense that I am having so many problems...I upgraded my computer so I could avoid all these hassles.
