When I try to install / run some of the programs..I get error messages:

When trying to run:

AnalogRec.exe has not been found

music disco creator has generated errores and will be closed by windows

Installing:

RoxioDB.exe Application error

The instruction at "0X621052be" referred memory at "0X0119A960" The memory could not be "read."

Microsoft Visual C ++ Run time error

Program...i(es) common files\roxiosharing\shared comp8\roxiomedia DB.exe

Roxio media DB has generated errors and will be closed by windows yo will need to retart your computer

What is version 8.5? Will it correct these issues?

I am running w2k w/, AMD Ath 1350mhz, 785 ram. I have activex, directx9..Running;;windows media player, quicktime, itunes. with itunes set as my playback option. works and sounds better that WMP.

Your thoughts?

It's actually 8.05 and it is for those that have the retail CD version. Sorry, I don't have a list of fixes, but hopefully it will help your problems.

My EMC8 was working fine except a problem it was causing with Windows Media Player that is in another thread. After I installed the patch I discovered that now I have a problem with Audio Video sync when I make a DVD using an MPG file that was captured by DVDexpress. I fixed the problem by uninstalling EMC8 and reinstalling it and not adding the patch. Now it is back to working good with Audio and Video sync. I will try the next patch when they come out with the next version so for now I will run without any patches.
