How do I go about copying 2 movies on to 1 double layer disk, can this be done?

Yes, but Toast will replace the original menus with its own.
The process involves extracting the movies from the DVDs using Toast's Media Browser. Insert the DVD. Or if this is a VIDEO_TS folder on your hard drive place the VIDEO_TS on the desktop (not inside any other folder). Choose DVD with the top button of the Browser. Find the titles you want to extract in the browser window. Drag them to the Video window. Toast extracts the MPEGs from the VIDEO_TS and writes them to the Roxio Converted Items folder.
Once they are in the video window, prepare the menu the way you want and burn your DL disc.
