I created a dvd (about 1.5 hrs. long) using MyDVD.  When I play on my dvd player tile pages, credits or any typed information is "shaky" on playback.  Would burning on a larger size dvd give better quality?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Sorry, there is not enough information provided.  A couple of things.

Is the picture shaky both on your computer and your TV played by your player?  If it is OK on your computer, then the problem is the player. Some players are finicky.  Try cleaning it with a CD cleaner (follow instructions) or blowing it out with clean air (be careful).  Some players like some disc brands better than others (as does your burner).  What brand are you using?

If you have saved the project in MyDVD, burn it to an iso file at best quality.  Uncheck the other options.  Name and save the iso where you can find it.  Now copy that iso file to the DVD blank.  The copier will transcodse the file to fit at the best quality that will fit on the disc. That will give you the best quality.  I doubt if you will gain much if you go to a DL disc.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
