I have been trying to make a home movie DVD and it is not playing on any of my players. I used MS moviemaker to edit the whole thing. Then used Roxio to burn the DVD. It says that the burn was successful, but when I try to play the DVD nothing happens. It will not play on the portable player, home theatre, and even the PS2.
What have I done wrong?
I am using DVD-R

Some details on what you did would be helpful.
What type of file did you output from MM?
Which specific program in EMC 8 and options did you use?

The output format from MM was DV-AVI........should I have used a different format?
Should I be using +R?

AVI is the way to go from MM. DVD+, not neccessarily unless that is what your plaers are compatible with.
Still need to know which specific program in EMC 8 you used to burn the disc with, and the options you chose.
