Hi there,

I have recently purchased Toast 7 titanium to Burn some AVI files to DVD to play on a DVD player, with the basic intention of freeing up some space on my Hard drive.

I am having real problems with my AVI files though, they play fine on VLC audio and all, but when put onto quicktime or toast there is no audio.  I have tried Exporting the AVI files to quicktime format using toast and even tried burning them to DVD but there is still no audio on these files.

I have a funny feeling that this all has something to do with the codec used for the audio on the AVI file but i don't know how to resolve it.

Has anybody got any ideas on how to resolve this issue, as I only bought this Toast program to burn these AVI files to DVD  :)

Please help

Many thanks

Fatboy

Try it with this codec: Mac AC3 codec.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
