I was wondering how often MediaTicker2 updates the RSS feeds? Also, is there a way to change how often it updates and a way to delete a topic if I have already read the feed?

IIRC, the feed updates every 30 minutes. This setting is not exposed to the user. We do have a feature planned for the next version that will allow you to press a button to update the feed. Deleting a topic isn't something we've considered, but it's an interesting request. You currently can't do that, but we'll look at it as a possible future feature.

I have just installed the latest, but I don't see it updating the RSS feeds. I have to completely exit the app, before it displays the latest feeds. Am I missing somthing?

You won't always notice that it's updated. Sometimes a refresh is necessary but if MediaTicker finds there is no new content then it won't update. Many news sites only update once a day. Some Flickr feeds, though have new content all the time (like photos tagged with "nature"), that might be a good way to test that it's working for you properly.

Mea culpa. We reproduced the problem where text feeds are not updating. A fix has been made and will be available with a new Vista-compatible version as early as next week. Standby! Thanks for reporting this.
