I recently purchased an electronic download "My DVD 8 premiere" and loaded it onto my computer.  As soon as it was loaded up on my computer, I kept getting a pop up message every minute or so.  It pops up irregardless of what program I am using.  It won't go away.  The messasge reads as follows , "Media center receiver service has encountered a problem and needs to close."  The error reads as such , "error signature,  szApp Name: ehrecvr.exe   szApp Ver:5.1.2715.2812                     sz mod Name: Cinemaster Audio. DDL sz Mod ver: 2.5.4.1414.  


I have and used sonic digital media plus v7 on my computer and it worked fine prior to installing My DVD 8.  Now my old program doesn't work at all.  I was able to restore my computer but lost the electronic download and the computer works great NOW.

However, I did order a backup CD for "My DVD 8" and it should get to me in the next  few days.  I'm sure that when I install it again, the problem will occur again.   Can anyone tell me what to do? [/b]  Does anyone know if it is possible to return the backup CD and get my money back.  Who do I contact?  Let me know, please, thanks... Happy holidays...
