Hi All,
I have found that for my needs Plug & Burn (EZMC-9) does a pretty decent and quick job of making no-frills copies of my 1 hour Digital-8 tapes. A one-hour tapes fits nicely on a 4.7gig DVD.
I also have about 40 or so Hi-8 tapes, each two hours long. I don't think it's worth the money getting double layer DVD's for these tapes. What is the best way to get those 2-hour tapes onto 2 DVD's? Would I lose a lot of quality by recording the tapes onto a single DVD using LP? Maybe there is a better way...
Thanks for your help!

First you have to capture the video from your camcorder to your PC. Since best quality on DVD is about an hour video, you may want to do do two capturing per video so that each part is at most an hour long. Then for each part, create a MyDVD project. You may want to create an image file (High Quality) first and then burn to disc.
Any form of compression lowers the video quality.
