Every DVD I play on Cine Player the sound is distorted, sounds like it is skipping. Can anyone help.

What audio card/chipset do you have? There is a known issue with nForce audio built onto some motherboards. Updating to the newest nForce drivers will fix this problem.

Did you check on Dell support web site to determine if any new drivers for your sound card are available.

Also your graphics controller will give you problems. It is not fully compatible with DirectX 9c which is required by EMC 7
