Hi everyone.

I am trying to create DVD BD from the files made by Final Cut Professional-5 (Mac).

When I try to add movie file (*.mov) - I see "Quick time system error: number =0 -16".

Anybody have the same problem?

Thanks for help.

second comment I have seen on this in the last week. clearly will need some experimentation. perhaps download the Bluefish444 or Blackmagic (http://www.decklink....port/software/) codecs and give that a try...

Have you used compressor to make the files? I have used compressor to make MPEG2-HD files and DVDit imported them. No reencoding then when writing to a volume or a disc...

No, I am creating Quicktime files (*.mov) without any compressors with Final Cut Pro.

But which Quicktime codec have you used? Uncompressed or Motion JPEG A works fine with DVDit.

I found solution. I made exprort from Final Cut Pro with Compressor to HD Mpeg-2 file.

Thanks for all who tried to help me.

ya, that will work, the only problem with that solution is that if you have not created BD legal MPEG-2 you will have that video transcoded again by DVDit Pro HD. Better to try the motion JPEG A or uncompressed and only transcode to MPEG-2 once.
