When I capture video from my Sony Handycam DCR HC46 (miniDV), the burned DVD quality is very poor.  I havnt seen (granted, I am very new to using this application) any options to set capture frame rates or general quality options.

When I burn a DVD, I choose the highest quality settings I can, but the burned DVD still looks pixely and even somewhat blurry.

Anyone know how to capture with better settings?  My computer and camcorder are pretty new, and I dont have any real restrictions that should disallow high quality dvd creation.

Thank you for any help!

You should be capturing via firewire connections.  Are you?
