However, in reply to your query:
In common with a lot of apps nowadays, EMC does install some stuff to the C drive. This is normal as the OS requires certain shared files to be there.
I've a feeling that "C:\windows installer\roxio easy media creator 9 wuite ms" is a typo and should be .msi (

Installer) and this file is essential for installation and also un-installation.
Did you manually remove any files from C after you installed it?
