Have been trying to uninstall and reinstall creator 9. I think my program disc may be damaged or something as the photo suite does not work, can not edit photos. Also other programs fail.

uninstalling gives error 1316, what is this in C:\windows installer\roxio easy media creator 9 wuite ms.

I had the program on H drive. Use to have creator 8 on C drive.

What do I do now?

ps reply to {edited to remove e-mail}

I edited the post to remove the address. As this (along with almost every other online board is trawled regularly, all the e-mail address does is to add you to a spammer's list as a ''live address'

However, in reply to your query:

In common with a lot of apps nowadays, EMC does install some stuff to the C drive. This is normal as the OS requires certain shared files to be there.

I've a feeling that "C:\windows installer\roxio easy media creator 9 wuite ms" is a typo and should be .msi (MicroSoft Installer) and this file is essential for installation and also un-installation.

Did you manually remove any files from C after you installed it?
