I removed your e-mail address as this board, along with most boards, is trawled regularly and you'd end up on a spammer's list
However, read this post regarding the error

If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

That patch is for EMC 8. What program are you using? If you are using MyDVD, in EMC 9, try going through the Start/All Programs and see if you get the same error.
If so, try Software rendering instead of Hardware rendering.

Whenever I edit a TV show (remove breaks & commercials) in EMC9 - the Video Compilation option in Disc Copier - the project errors out at burn or save-as request. The error: "Unspecified Error [0X80004005]". However, copying (burning) the complete TV show without edits works normally. The Roxio 'Fix' for error 0X80004005 is for EMC8 and does NOT fix the error problem in EMC9. Is there a 'fix' for this bug in EMC9?

Read what GPB suggests. I am not sure I have ever seen this error in V9… It isn't a "bug" unless a majority or users encounter it.

No point in suggesting anything, if you aren't going to try it.

I tried EMC9's My DVD component for trimming TV programs recorded on DVD, but found no option to burn result to HD folder. Only output options are DVD or image file. So has anyone actually had success using the Video Compilation tab in EMC9's Disc Copier to trim DVD chapters and then burn the result to an HD folder?
