Yo fellow Roxio users,
I have been using EMC8 for couple of years and have been making multimedia videos that last about 30 to 40 minutes long. The only problems is like everyone else, if you move to quickly, the computer freezes up. Now the question, if I upgrad to EMC 9 and upgrade my system to a core 2 2.66, with 2 gb ram, 500 gb sata harddrive, and a ATI Radeon X1950 XTX 512MB Video Card will I have better performance in EMC 9.
My orginal system is a P4 2.5 800 GHZ, 1 gb ram, 250 gb harddrive, with a 128 mb radeon video card.
Upgrading from 8 to 9

Man oh man, that's a lot of "upgrading" on your present computer
When you suggested that "when you move to fast..." using EMC 8, what do you mean ? I assume you meant that you are changing options or changing tasks you are doing faster than the program can keep up with it. Just about every "upgrade" you suggested you might possible make would certainly help that, but there is always that change or task you are doing that just takes longer to complete. Especially video editing.
