I am trying to create my own DVD menu background using EMC9. Every time I try to add a photograph, the resulting image on the menu is much blurrier than the original image, regardless of which format I choose (e.g., jpg, bmp, png). Obviously, I'd like the clearest image possible, even though it will play on a regular TV. Is there a trick to getting the background photos crisp? Thanks

Don't go by the preview. It is a low resolution preview so video can be previewed in real time without full rendering.

If you have a player that will handle them, you can try RW discs. I use them all the time since I usually find something later that I'd like to change.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
