I've got a problem. When I'm using idvd and I make a slideshow to run on a dvd I cannot burn it using a lacie external dvd burner on the macintosh. Is there software that will let me do this? I keep getting an error message. I tried saving the file and then opening it in toast but toast does not recognize the idvd saved file format and there is no other way to save the file in idvd.  Im sure if I had a dvd burner built into the laptop it wouldn't have this problem.

Choose the disc image file created with iDVD using the Image File setting in the Toast Copy window. Then burn your DVD.

Make sure you saved the iDVD project as a disc image and not just an iDVD project file.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
