Hi,
My new Dell came with Roxio Creator LE Dell edition so I don't know which forum to post in. I have 2 drives.
When I use Roxio Creator to copy a music CD from D: to E: When the copy is done I get error…..
“There was a problem reading the disc you are trying to copy. Please make sure your disc is free of fingerprints, scratches, or dust then try again.”
But the copy plays OK in D: & E:
So should I be concerned about the error message? It wasn’t coming up everytime but now I think it is.
Thanks,
Christine
Copy says error but burned cd is ok

That sounds as if the program is having a problem with the original disc - if you turn off validation it should go away.
It seems to be trying to compare the original with the copy and failing to read the original
All 'validation' does anyway is tell you if the copy is faulty (but by that stage it's too late to do anything about it)

If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed
