Now that I've installed emc 9suite my MC PC will no longer display video. I can see the guide, but not watch anything.
At system start up and when I start Media Center the Sonic cineplayer looks for a file it cannot find--46ecd6.msi
I'm fairly irritated with these results.
Thanks in advance for any tips.

What video card do you have? Have you updated the drivers for it? What are your system specs?

I'm having a bunch of issues I am still working on but I think I can help you on this one.
I also have MCE 2005. My rig has a bunch of capture sources, one being the TV tuner. When you watch your TV, you are actually watching the capture source. I bet some how during the install, your capture source got changed.
Sounds like you have an ATI card?? If so, first use the ATI media center setup and change your capture source to your TV tuner. If you don't have the ATI media center installed or if I am wrong about you having an ATI card, use the MCE setup.
It is easy to get lost in the MCE setup. At least on my machine I have a whole slue of input choices for both video and audio.
Let me know how it turn out.
