Hi, wondering if anyone out there can help with my problem?

I had installed EMC9 on a previous computer and couldn't get the main programs like MYDVD and Videowave to work, i think mainly due to a memory problem.
However i have recently bought a new tower and so installed the program on the new tower.

It worked ok for a few days and then i started getting the buffer over-run messages.
I then tried to uninstall the program and re-install it to clear this but it was as if it didn't completly uninstall and since i can't get the program on here properly.
I then tried the website and came across the BO fix which i downloaded.

I also started getting the messages about having the wrong CD key - i have now though downloaded the fix for this as well.

Now i have tried to reinstall the program again - i got past the CD Key part with no problems - i've had no pop ups about buffer over-runs but when i tried to use MyDVD a message came up saying:

The following codec must be activated before using the application:
MPEG2

So i click on ok to activate and then i get the following message:

no permission - bad installation

arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

How do i get around this or how do i fully 100% clear the program from my system as this is doing my head in - with all the features on here i'm desperate to use the program but keep getting held back?

Please help

Thanks - i tried that link but i wasn't able to do the manual/offline activation because after the message came up about the bad installation, when you click on ok it all shuts down and i didn't get that option to manually input.

and now to make things worse - i uninstalled the program to try and start from the beginning again and when i put my disc in its saying that i now have a blank CD!!!!!!!
Well i sure haven't erased it so what do i do now, i've had it a couple of months so i can't take it back to the shops

Arrgghhhhhhhh - i wish i didn't buy it now
