Is there a way to tell Spin Doctor 3 that toast 6 is available?

Mac OSX 10.4.8

I upgraded to 3.1s this weekend and placed the app at the root level of my applications folder. Works fine, but the option to send tracks to toast is greyed.

The version 2 used to be in the Roxio folder of toast 6. On a hunch I moved v3 to that folder this morning, did repair permissions and restarted, but no joy.

I can (and have) just saved the tracks as audio and then imported to toast, but then I loose the track order.

You're in the wrong place - scroll down to the Mac section (this is the PC end of the board) :)

Hmmm I'm looking at

Roxio community>Macintosch applications>Toast6/toast 5 > Spin doctor 3.1s to toast 6

Perhaps the good shepherds of the forum have taken care of this? I originally posted to general questions and I got a notice that the post was moved to toast 6.

So while your comment may have helped someone, the question stands. Any ideas?

I too have CD spin doctor and Toast 6 and the button to send recorded songs to toast is greyed out and doesn't function. Please don't tell me I am in the wrong forum because I am in the correct one for Mac applications. Does anybody know what the problem is. Thanks for any help.

I don't know about fixing the menu export to Toast, but you can select the tracks in Spin Doctor and drag them to the Toast Audio window.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

Thanks for the info, but I already knew that. I thought it would be easier to just click the toast button and have Toast open up for me and add the selected tracks directly just like it did when I was using CD spin doctor 2. I am sure there is a reason that the toast button does not work and an explaination is what I am looking for. Maybe Roxio could answer this. Come on Roxio, tell me why you but a toast button in cd spin doctor that doesn't work.

You will need Toast 7 to use the "Send to Toast" option in CD Spin Doctor 3.x

Thank you, That's what I thought but wanted to make sure before purchasing newer version of Toast.
