I have a LG DVD RW; GSA-H20L
During burning a DVD it stops and won't go any further without giving a message.
The session can only be stopped by a so called "Force Quid".
Who knows wht is wrong

I don't know what is wrong. Give this a try: Instead of clicking the burn button choose Save as Disc Image from the File menu. When the disc image is complete, choose it with the Image File setting in the Toast Copy window. Then click the burn button. Does the disc burn completely now?
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

Well, that's a clue. It means that reading the files did not cause the freeze or else Toast would not have completed the disc image.

Go to the LG support site and see if there is a firmware update available for that drive. Also, try a different brand of media. I'm suspecting that this is a problem with either the drive or the media, but I don't know for sure.
