Hello, brand newbie, here. . How long does it take to get a reply from tech support? Purchased online version + cd on 30th. Kept getting bad downloads ("file too small to decompress"). Must've maxed out so can't re-download. Dang! I'm disappointed! Still in queue? What to do?
download/tech support?

What do you think can TechSupport do in that case? I am sure these are not the same people who are in charge of the web site, online-store or download server.

What means "maxed out" in this situation? Does it mean you've reached a download size limit set by your provider or so? If so, why don't you ask someone else to download it for you and burn it on a CD? So far, I never had problems to download from Roxio's site.

The Roxio online store allows 5 "downloads." I first thought that meant "tries" but the word is "downloads." Something or someone must think I've actually downloaded five copies. Thanks for the info about the difference between tech support and the download server. I wouldn't have been able to comprehend that. (The online store site is impenetrable!) Perhaps some day the store will respond to my query--in order of receipt. Oh, well. I just needed it to get large-ish amounts of text accessible to my workplace pc and the pc wouldn't read my flash drive. I just sprung for a new flash drive that seems to be working OK for my critical work project and I will presumably get the backup Toast CD I ordered so I guess I'll manage. Probably wouldn't have spent the money on Toast if it weren't for necessity but I'll get use out of it anyway because the burner on my eMac is not up to the task, put mildly.
Again, thanks, Christian.
