Hoping this is because I need to upgrade or up date the software but the Program wont recognise my new Sony DVD Handycam (8mm disc) is this because the software needs updating????

I have had to download it through Picture Package and then import the files, it woudl be much easoer to downlaod it straight inot ROXIO.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Michael

Not going to work with USB. You will have to use the proprietary software that came with the camcorder to capture that way.

It may be possible to capture from the disc but it will probably need to be finalized before it will be recognized.
