When ever I attemped to copy a DVD after compressing it tells me there was a servo error and popcorn shuts down
please help!

I don't know what the problem is, but have you tried Save as Disc Image from the Popcorn File menu instead of clicking the burn button? After Popcorn writes the disc image you can burn it to video DVD using the Image File setting in Popcorn.

The is a problem with the drive, it could be going out, or the media you are using.
