[2TH GUY]

I was using the previous release up until yesterday when I started seeing this problem.  I would click on the icon in my dock, the toaster would start bouncing and then stop.  After a few seconds (and the black triangle pops up under the icon indicating an open program), nothing happens: the window doesn't open etc.

I try to force quit, but this doesn't close the program and thus freezes any restart or shutdown command...have to shut down by holding the power button for 5 seconds.

I downloaded the newest release, replaced the files but I am still getting the same problem.  Any ideas on how to correct this? The only new thing I did was install iTunes Shutdown...a sleep timer program for iTunes.
