Sorry to bother everyone just thinking about my problem of what I want to do which is saved my DVD labels that I design as I can take them from one computer to another if necessary reason for putting on to disc as I can store they and another address just in case the worst happens and this house is burnt to the ground as I store copies of my DVDs at other addresses so is there any reason I could not just save the files to a DVD or CD for a long time storage and retrieval when needed I wondering even if I do need to use easy media corrected nine for this purpose for the storage of these would like feedback on this as I can get going next week is any reason why I can't just save the file to the disk
Thanks for putting up with me Michelle

Just save tham as CD or DVD using Creator Michelle and, so long as they're finalised and readable they should be fine for a few years (unless of course the house you store them in gets burnt down instead)
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

In Classic, File – Project Settings – General tab, clear the check marks by 'Enable Compression'.
After that you must limit the files included in your project to fit on one disc!
If you don't do this, it is going to create a Disc Set and that requires using Retreive.exe to copy the files back to your HD.
But by limiting the project size to one disc, you will have a Data disc that is fully accessible.
