Whenever I export anything out of sound editor I get a runtime
I edit the clip that I want, I then press the export button and choose the quality, where to save it and the file name that I want it to save as. The export completes but I then get a "Roxio Sound Editor has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." error message.
It also gives me a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error with the following message.
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Roxio\Sound Editor 9\SoundEdit9.exe
R6025
-pure virtual function call
This happens when I do any of the following "Export Current Clip", "Export Mix", or "Export Tracks/Clips". I did not test the other functions for errors. I was converting a wave file that I captured in "Roxio Media Import" this also gave me the "Roxio Sound Editor has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." error message when I finished the capture of the clip.
I am using:
Dell e520
2.13 Duo Core
2 gig Ram
Sound Blaster X-Fi
256 MB Nvidia GeForce 7300 LE

Using the wonderful Search button and typing in the error message, I found lots of hits.
Here's just one of them.

Did you try the fix in Paul's link? We don't know if it worked for Gshort, because he/she was a "hit and run" poster.
Life is good!
