Backup MyPC is not reading the media:

I have tried Sony DVD+R 1x-16x and HP 16x DVD+R and HP 16x DVD-R

The specs from DVDInfo say the drive will write DVD+R and +RW.

The Disc Information from EMC9 says:

Suported Media: CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-ROM (Is this the same as DVD-R?) and DVD+RW

In a previous post I have tried +RW and the backup set runs,  but in all 4 cases fails to verify.

I am using a Philips DVD+RW-D01 with updated firmware to v. 1.9
