I have my taskbar set to autohide. When I maximize any of the EMC8 application windows, they behave as though they are set to be "always on top" and when I cursor to the bottom of the screen, the task bar dosen't pop up. Is there a view setting somewhere in EMC8 that would fix this?

Check that the display window isn't fully maximised (there should be a double square at the top left)
If necessary - resize it
If necessary - resize it
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed
