Help!
Trying to author a dvd.
Validate of project states everything is ok.
When I burn, it hangs at 7% (encoding)
Tried with both burn only, burn + iso, and no burn + iso only)
All hang at same spot.

Tried updating DirX to 9.xx (whatever the latest was)
Tried updating drivers to latest (NVIDEA geforce 7300LE)
Went thru step where MyDVD does that test of the drivers upon starting up.
Still hangs at 7%

Dell Dimension E520
Videocard as above
Win XP media center ed
2 gb RAM
Intel Core 2 processor, 6400 @ 2.13 Ghz
(thus I have a pretty uptodate and powerful machine)
(there is no good reason why this program should not work.. )

NicNak:
If progress sits at 0%, then the video card drivers are the most likely culprit. Update them to the most current version.

dar969:
If it's stopping at 7%, that usually indicates there is a problem at that point in your project. You need to check your source files to see if there is something wrong at that point. Maybe a transition it doesn't like for example.

Also note that when updating video drivers, it's important to do it per the instructions on the download site. Usually this means uninstall the current ones, reboot, then install the new ones, making sure anti-virus software is disabled while installing. Un-install reboot re-install is also something you can try even if you already have the most current drivers installed, it sometimes helps clean things up. One last thing, make sure you have the most current version of directx 9 installed..
