Vista "Right Click Menu" Slowdown using Disk Image Loader
#1

Since I work regularly with disk images from various vendors, I felt that the Disk Image Loader would be a great help to me. (I don't always want to burn a disk if I can use the ISO.)
As soon as I created my first virtual drive I noticed that my context sensitive menu (right mouse click) had slowed dramatically. Other elements of the users interface slowed too. Any time I needed to search the drive tree, the waiting time was unbearable. I noticed that it was taking up to 1 minute for my right clicks to show results.
I searched for other Vista solutions, but happened to uncover this as the culprit on my own. Please note that I have assigned drive letters to 2 different Virtual drives and the generally not both were in use.
Any suggestions? I have had to turn off mounting of ISO's for now while I figure out a solution.

While some parts of EMC9 work ok with Vista, Roxio has announced that it will fully support Vista when it's publicly released.

Roxio, are you aware of the issue and are you working on a fix to this? I have opened up a ticket to this.
Thanks.
